A sterile, silicone-faced bordered foam dressing for wounds with moderate drainage, made for home health caregivers and small clinics.
Five layers work together: a gentle silicone contact layer, an absorbent layer, a transfer layer, foam, and a breathable waterproof film. The superabsorbent core gels drainage and holds it in, which helps shield the surrounding skin. The dressing also helps absorb shear and friction, and it can be worn for up to 7 days.
