A thick, nonadhesive foam dressing that soaks up heavy drainage, for caregivers and clinics managing wounds that need frequent attention.
Place the foam over the wound as a primary dressing, or under another dressing as a secondary layer, then secure it with tape or wrap since it has no adhesive of its own. It handles a lot of fluid, and its breathability adjusts as drainage rises or falls. A waterproof outer layer helps block dirt and germs, and one dressing can stay on for up to 7 days.
