The Fourflex 4-layer kit helps clinicians and home health nurses apply sustained, high compression for people with chronic venous insufficiency and the swelling that comes with it.
Each layer has its own job. The first cushions the leg and absorbs drainage, the second gives a smooth base to wrap over, and the last two layers apply compression and hold everything in place. Depending on drainage and how much the swelling goes down, the wrap can stay on for up to seven days.
